“i liked them until everybody started listening to them, now i hate them” … the epitome of all things teenage… teens are so desperate to spew originality that they obsessively try to construct their likes and dislikes based on that ’something’s’ obscurity and lack of mainstream popularity (and thus makes them different from everyone around them)… but of course the moment that that thing becomes popular it no longer bring that person recognition as being original so they try to convince others that they no longer like it… here’s a thought, instead of lying about what you actually like, just like what you like… now that would be original
